  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains," which is now available. One of the tracks on the album, called "Creek Will Rise," is gaining popularity and rapidly climbing up the charts in the country music genre.

Not too distant in the past, the emerging talent was an ordinary teenager of 16, attending a live performance by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which left a profound impression on him.

At the age of 16, I had a date with a girl at a Thomas Rhett concert. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated in the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to slow dance with the girl, wanting to create a romantic and affectionate moment.

Smith mentions that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.

After sharing a laugh, he goes on to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett and realized that he had the satisfaction of having the final laugh in that situation.

Smith has shared this story with the audience on multiple occasions, and it is always well-received by them.

Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation after a breakup.
