Conner Smith has recently released his first album called "Smoky Mountains", which is now available. One of his songs from the album, titled "Creek Will Rise", is gaining popularity and quickly climbing up the charts in the country music genre.
Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was simply an average sixteen-year-old who attended a concert by one of his favorite country music performers.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which had a significant effect on him.
At the age of 16, I had a date with a girl at a Thomas Rhett concert. It took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to slow dance with the girl, hoping to create a romantic atmosphere.
Smith explains that the following day, his girlfriend ended their relationship.
We had a moment of laughter, and then he proceeds with his story. He mentions that about 4 years later, he was on tour with Rhett, and he jokingly says, "I suppose I had the final laugh in that situation, if you know what I mean."
Smith has shared this story with audiences several times during his performances, and it has become a beloved choice among the listeners.
Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and satisfaction in a romantic separation.
