The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place in February. This time, the awards have introduced two new categories dedicated to country music, expanding their already extensive list of nominations.
Following a triumphal debut of the People's Choice Country Awards extension in 2023, the primary event has introduced two fresh accolades: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the overall number of categories for the show now stands at 45.
Previously, the show has featured artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Additionally, the PCAs have recently revealed their plans to honor Male and Female Latin Artists in 2024.
The Male Country Artist category for the first time includes Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The nominees for Female Country Artist are Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Until the day of the show, supporters have the opportunity to cast their votes online for their preferred artist. The People's Choice Awards for the year 2024 will take place on February 18th at 8PM ET, airing on NBC.
