The 2024 People's Choice Awards will be held in February. This time, the awards show has included two new country categories to its already extensive list of nominations.
Following a prosperous introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the initial event has introduced two additional accolades: Male Country Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the overall number of categories for the show has now reached 45.
Previously, the show has showcased artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The PCAs have also revealed their plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in the year 2024.
The Male Country Artist category for the first time includes Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The nominees for Female Country Artist consist of Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Viewers have the opportunity to participate in online voting for their preferred artist until the day of the event. The upcoming People's Choice Awards for 2024 will take place on February 18th at 8PM ET and will be aired on NBC.
