Conner Smith has just released his first album titled "Smoky Mountains." One of his songs called "Creek Will Rise" is rapidly gaining popularity and climbing up the country music charts.
Not too far in the past, the up-and-coming celebrity was an average teenager of 16 years, attending a concert of one of his beloved country music performers.
During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, which is available on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a profound effect on him.
At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. The concert took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were sitting on the lawn area. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to slow dance with the girl, wanting to create a romantic atmosphere.
Smith further explains that she ended the relationship with me the following day.
After we share a moment of laughter, he proceeds to narrate the rest of the story. He mentions that about 4 years later, he was on tour with Rhett when he realized that he had ultimately emerged victorious in that situation.
Smith has shared this story with the audience during his performances and it has become a popular choice among listeners.
Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation one can experience after a breakup.
