The 2024 People's Choice Awards are scheduled to take place in February. As a new addition, the show has introduced two country categories to their extensive list of nominations.
Following a prosperous introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the primary event has introduced two additional accolades: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. As a result, the show now boasts a total of 45 categories.
Previously, the show has showcased artists in different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Additionally, the PCAs have recently revealed their plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in 2024.
The list of nominees for the Male Country Artist category consists of Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. The nominees for the Female Country Artist category include Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Audiences have the opportunity to participate in an online voting process to select their preferred artist until the day of the event. The upcoming People's Choice Awards for the year 2024 are set to take place on February 18th, airing at 8 PM ET on NBC.
