The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place in February. This time, the awards show has included two new country categories among its many nominations.
Following a triumphant introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the primary event has introduced two additional accolades: Male Country Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year. Consequently, the overall count of categories for the show now reaches 45.
Previously, the show has focused on showcasing artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The PCAs have also revealed their plans to honor outstanding Male and Female Latin Artists in the year 2024.
The Male Country Artist category has announced its inaugural nominees, which consist of Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. In the Female Country Artist category, the nominees are Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Audiences have the opportunity to cast their votes through an online platform for the artist they admire the most. The 2024 People's Choice Awards are set to take place on February 18th at 8PM ET and will be broadcasted on NBC.
