Thomas Rhett’s Concert Helps Rising Star Conner Smith Move On from Ex-Girlfriend

  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his first album called Smoky Mountains, which is now available. One of the songs from the album, "Creek Will Rise," is rapidly climbing the country music charts.

Not too long ago, the up-and-coming celebrity was an ordinary sixteen-year-old who attended a concert by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of Taste of Country Nights, available On Demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience at a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016, which had a profound effect on him.

At the age of 16, I went on a date with a girl to watch a Thomas Rhett concert. The venue was Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and I attempted to slow dance with the girl, trying to be romantic and affectionate.

Smith mentions that the following day, his partner ended their relationship with him.

After sharing a moment of laughter, he proceeds to tell the rest of the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was touring with Rhett and realized that he had ultimately emerged victorious in that situation.

Smith has shared this story with the audience on multiple occasions, and it has become a popular choice among them.

Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation in a romantic split.
