The 2024 People's Choice Awards will be held in February. For this year's edition, the show has included two new country categories in addition to its already extensive list of nominations.
Following a triumphant introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the primary event has introduced two fresh accolades: Male Country Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year. Consequently, the show now encompasses a grand total of 45 distinct categories.
Previously, the show has showcased artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The PCAs have also revealed plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in the year 2024.
The Male Country Artist category has announced its inaugural list of nominees, which includes talented musicians such as Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. On the other hand, the Female Country Artist category has unveiled its contenders, namely Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Viewers have the opportunity to cast their votes for their preferred artist through an online platform until the day of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place on February 18th at 8PM ET, airing on NBC.
