  • by

Conner Smith has recently released his first album, titled Smoky Mountains. One of the songs from the album, called "Creek Will Rise," is gaining popularity and climbing the country music charts.

Not too long ago, the up-and-coming celebrity was an ordinary sixteen-year-old who attended a concert by one of his beloved country music artists.

During the most recent episode of the Taste of Country Nights show, which is available on demand, Smith shares a personal anecdote about his experience attending a Thomas Rhett concert in 2016 that had a significant influence on him.

At the age of 16, I had the opportunity to go on a date with a girl to attend a Thomas Rhett concert. I still recall that it took place at Ascend Amphitheater, and we were seated on the lawn section. During the show, Thomas Rhett performed his song "Die a Happy Man," and at that moment, I attempted to have a slow dance with the girl, hoping to create a sweet and romantic atmosphere.

Smith mentions that the following day, his significant other ended their relationship.

After a moment of laughter, he proceeds with the story. He mentions that about four years later, he was on tour with Rhett, and he felt like he had the upper hand in the situation.

Smith has shared this story with the audience multiple times during his performances, and it has become a beloved choice among the viewers.

Let's discuss the ultimate form of revenge and validation in a romantic separation.
