The 2024 People's Choice Awards will be held in February. For this year's ceremony, two new country categories have been introduced to the already extensive list of nominations.
Following a highly successful introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the original show has introduced two additional accolades: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. Consequently, the total number of categories featured in the show has now reached 45.
Previously, the show has showcased artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The PCAs have also recently revealed their plans to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in the year 2024.
The initial batch of nominees for the category of Male Country Artist consists of Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. On the other hand, the contenders for Female Country Artist include Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
People have the opportunity to vote for their preferred artist through an online platform until the day of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place on February 18th at 8PM ET, and it will be broadcasted on NBC.
