The 2024 People's Choice Awards are scheduled to take place in February. For this year's show, they have included two new country categories in their extensive selection of nominations.
Following a triumphant introduction of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the primary event has introduced two fresh accolades: Male Country Artist of the Year and Female Country Artist of the Year. Consequently, the overall number of categories for the show has now reached 45.
Previously, the show has showcased artists from different genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. Additionally, the PCAs have also recently declared their intention to acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in the year 2024.
The list of nominees for the Male Country Artist category includes Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. On the other hand, the nominees for Female Country Artist are Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Audiences have the opportunity to cast their votes online for the artist they admire the most until the day of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards have been planned to take place on February 18th at 8PM ET, and it will be broadcasted on NBC
