The 2024 People's Choice Awards will take place in February. For this year's show, two new country categories have been included in the long list of nominations.
Following a triumphant debut of the People's Choice Country Awards expansion in 2023, the initial event has introduced two additional accolades: the Male Country Artist of the Year and the Female Country Artist of the Year. Consequently, the show now boasts a grand total of 45 categories.
Previously, the show has showcased artists from different music genres such as pop, hip-hop, and R&B. The PCAs have also declared that they will acknowledge Male and Female Latin Artists in 2024.
The initial batch of nominees for the Male Country Artist category consists of Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Hardy, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown, Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Zach Bryan. On the other hand, the nominees for the Female Country Artist category are Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Gabby Barrett, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Megan Moroney, and Shania Twain.
Audiences have the opportunity to cast their votes online for the artist they admire the most until the day of the event. The 2024 People's Choice Awards have been planned to take place on February 18th at 8PM ET, airing on NBC.
