This week (Jan. 20-26), there are four new country albums that have been released, along with some fantastic songs from artists like Tyler Hubbard, Charley Crockett, Morgan Wallen, and Glen Campbell. These additions have enriched the list of new country releases.
Indeed, there is an upcoming project involving Glen Campbell, and the initial preview is a collaboration between the iconic artist and Eric Church. The release titled "The Ghost on the Canvas Sessions" is scheduled for April 19 and will showcase other notable artists such as Dolly Parton, Eric Clapton, Carole King, and others. The latest album from the Josh Abbott Band was considered for our "Song You Need to Hear" feature, but in the end, another Texan artist with a unique sound took this week's honor. However, Somewhere Down the Road by the Josh Abbott Band is still definitely worth a listen, as it is the best among all the full-length albums released this week, with a total running time of 36 minutes.
