Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is only .081, with a record of 3 hits out of 37 attempts. Despite this, he has managed to win three awards. The Bellamy Brothers would certainly wish for such luck!
The duo consisting of David and Howard Bellamy has an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three major shows. No other country pair has received as many nominations in the duo category, yet they have never managed to win. The lack of recognition for the Bellamy Brothers is evident, as they were not even considered in the list of deserving artists not included in the Country Music Hall of Fame by the Taste of Country team.
