This week (Jan. 20-26) brings us a selection of 16 new country songs and albums that may have slipped under your radar. Among them are four country albums, and we also have some fantastic tracks from Tyler Hubbard, Charley Crockett, Morgan Wallen, and Glen Campbell that you definitely shouldn't miss out on.
Indeed, there is an upcoming project involving Glen Campbell, and the initial hint is a collaboration between the iconic musician and Eric Church. Titled "The Ghost on the Canvas Sessions," this release will be available on April 19 and will include contributions from renowned artists such as Dolly Parton, Eric Clapton, and Carole King, among others. The latest album from the Josh Abbott Band was considered for our Song You Need to Hear feature, but in the end, we decided to give this week's honor to another Texan artist with a unique sound that you must listen to. However, Somewhere Down the Road is definitely worth the 36 minutes of your time as it is the best among all the full-length albums released this week.
