There are 14 country stars who should receive more recognition. While Dwight Yoakam may have seemed like the most overlooked singer in country music, we have now discovered another iconic country artist with an impressive resume.

Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is only .081, with a record of 3 wins out of 37 attempts. In comparison, the Bellamy Brothers have not been as fortunate in their award wins.

David and Howard Bellamy, as a duo, have an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three major shows. It is remarkable because no other country pair has received more nominations in the duo category, and yet they have never won. Their lack of recognition is evident as the Taste of Country team did not even include them in the list of deserving artists not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
