This week (Jan. 20-26), there are a total of four new country albums included in the list. Along with that, there are some noteworthy songs from Tyler Hubbard, Charley Crockett, Morgan Wallen, and Glen Campbell.
Indeed, there is an upcoming project involving Glen Campbell called The Ghost on the Canvas Sessions. The first preview of this project is a collaboration between the renowned artist and Eric Church. This release, set for April 19, will also include contributions from Dolly Parton, Eric Clapton, Carole King, and other artists. The latest album by the Josh Abbott Band was considered for our Song You Need to Hear feature, but in the end, someone else from Texas with a unique sound was chosen for this week's honor. Nonetheless, Somewhere Down the Road, the new album, is definitely worth the 36 minutes of listening time as it is the best among all the full-length albums released this week.
