Yoakam has achieved a rather low batting average of .081 (3-37) at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards. Despite this, he has managed to secure three wins. The Bellamy Brothers, on the other hand, have not been as fortunate.
This pair has an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three main country music award shows. No other duo has received as many nominations in this category, yet they have never won. David and Howard Bellamy have been so consistently overlooked that they were not even mentioned by the Taste of Country team when compiling a list of deserving artists who are not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
