Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM and Grammy Awards is only .081, with a record of 3 wins out of 37 attempts. In comparison, the Bellamy Brothers have not been as fortunate.
The pair of David and Howard Bellamy have an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three most important music awards shows. They have received numerous nominations in the duo category, but have never been able to secure a win. It is quite surprising that despite being one of the most nominated country duos, they have never been acknowledged by the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Taste of Country team didn't even include them in their list of deserving artists who should be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
