There are 14 country music stars who are not getting the recognition they deserve. While Dwight Yoakam is often considered the most disrespected singer in the genre, we recently discovered another country act with an impressive resume that also seems to be overlooked.
Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is only .081 (3-37), however, he has managed to secure three wins. The Bellamy Brothers would be fortunate to achieve the same level of success.
This pair has an astonishing record of being unsuccessful at the three major shows, as they have not won in any of the nominations they have received in the duo category. David and Howard Bellamy have been overlooked to such an extent that they were not even taken into consideration by the Taste of Country team when compiling a list of deserving artists who are not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.

It appeared to be extremely obvious that they would have arrived by now.

Nevertheless, the evidence clearly supports the notion that it is time to show him and his 13 colleagues a little more admiration.
