There are 14 country stars who should be given more respect. While Dwight Yoakam may have been considered the most disrespected singer in country music, we recently discovered another legendary country artist with an impressive resume.
Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is only .081 (3-37), yet he has managed to secure three wins. The Bellamy Brothers would be fortunate to achieve the same level of success.
David and Howard Bellamy, a country music duo, have an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three major shows. Despite receiving the highest number of nominations in the duo category, they have never won. The Bellamy brothers are often overlooked and have not been considered by the Taste of Country team when compiling a list of deserving artists not in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
