Yoakam has achieved a very low batting average of .081 (3-37) when it comes to the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards. However, despite this, he has managed to secure three victories. The Bellamy Brothers would be extremely fortunate if they could achieve the same level of success.
David and Howard Bellamy, as a duo, have an outstanding record of 0-29 at the three major country music award shows. It is quite remarkable that no other country music pair has received more nominations in the duo category than them, yet they have never won. The Bellamy Brothers are often overlooked and underestimated in their achievements. In fact, when the Taste of Country team compiled a list of deserving artists not yet included in the Country Music Hall of Fame, the Bellamy Brothers were not even considered.
