There are 14 country stars who should be given more recognition. While Dwight Yoakam was thought to be the most undervalued singer in country music, we recently discovered the impressive credentials of another well-known country artist.

Yoakam has a very low batting average of .081 (3 hits out of 37 attempts) at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards. Despite this, he has managed to secure three wins. The Bellamy Brothers would surely wish for such luck!

This pair has an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three main country music award shows. They hold the record for receiving the most nominations in the duo category, yet they have never managed to win. David and Howard Bellamy are so consistently overlooked that the Taste of Country team didn't even think to include them in their list of deserving artists who have not been inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
