Lainey Wilson's recent collaboration with the Black Crowes happened in a very natural way. According to Chris Robinson, he happened to meet the country singer by coincidence and discovered that she was a fan of their music.
On the Black Crowes' latest album, titled Happiness Bastards, there is a song called "Wilted Rose." According to Robinson, he had the opportunity to meet Wilson at a country awards show while walking the red carpet. At the 2023 CMT Music Awards, the Black Crowes collaborated with Darius Rucker for a performance of "She Talks to Angels."
Robinson remembers how kind and lovely she was, and how she expressed her admiration for the Black Crowes by saying, "I can't believe it, but I actually grew up listening to them!"
During a break between interviews and other activities, Producer Jay Joyce took the opportunity to ask her a question, and she immediately responded by doing what he asked.
Joyce was also responsible for producing the two most recent albums by Wilson. The album "Wilted Rose" is significant because it is the first time that the Black Crowes have collaborated with a different singer on one of their albums.

Wilson has gained even more recognition as one of the most vibrant female artists in country music through this collaboration. Over the past three years, she has collaborated with various notable artists including Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Chase Rice, Hardy, Lauren Alaina, and Darren Criss. Additionally, she contributed a rendition of the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" for the Stone Cold Country tribute album dedicated to the Stones. Wilson also showcased her acting skills in the Western drama series, Yellowstone.
During an interview, Robinson recollects being in Los Angeles after the main part of the record. Upon hearing it, they were impressed and exclaimed, "Wow!" They acknowledge the immense talent of the artist and recognize that she is currently experiencing her superstar moment. They express happiness for her success and have confidence that she will continue to achieve great things, as she is already doing so.
It is believed that Wilson is currently working on her upcoming album, however, no information or songs from those recording sessions have been made public. "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" is her latest single released from her album titled Bell Bottom Country.
