Lainey Wilson's recent collaboration with the Black Crowes happened in a very natural way. According to Chris Robinson, he happened to meet the country singer and discovered that she was a fan of their music.
You can find a track titled "Wilted Rose" on the latest album called "Happiness Bastards" by the Black Crowes. In an interview with Loudwire Nights, Robinson reveals that he first met Wilson while they were both on the red carpet at a country awards show. Additionally, the Black Crowes teamed up with Darius Rucker to perform "She Talks to Angels" at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
Robinson remembers her as a very kind and affectionate person who expressed her enthusiasm by saying, "I can't believe it, I have been a fan of the Black Crowes since I was a child."
During a short break between interviews, Producer Jay Joyce took the opportunity to ask her a question, and without hesitation, she willingly complied.
Joyce was also responsible for producing the last two albums of Wilson. "Wilted Rose" signifies the first instance where the Black Crowes collaborated with a different vocalist for an album.

Wilson continues to solidify her position as one of the most versatile and influential female artists in country music. Over the past three years, she has collaborated with a diverse range of musicians including Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll, Cole Swindell, Chase Rice, Hardy, Lauren Alaina, and Darren Criss. She also contributed her unique rendition of the Rolling Stones' classic "You Can't Always Get What You Want" for the Stone Cold Country tribute album dedicated to the Stones. In addition to her musical endeavors, Wilson has also showcased her acting skills in the Western drama series, Yellowstone.
During an interview, Robinson remembers being in Los Angeles when they listened to the record after the main part was over. They were impressed and thought, "Wow." They acknowledged the immense talent of the artist and recognized that she was currently experiencing a superstar moment. Robinson expressed happiness for her success and believed that she would continue to achieve great things, as she was already doing so.
It is believed that Wilson is currently working on her upcoming album, however, there is no information or songs that have been released from these recording sessions. "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" from the album Bell Bottom Country is her latest single.
