Lainey Wilson's recent collaboration with the Black Crowes happened in a completely natural way. According to Chris Robinson, he happened to meet the country singer by coincidence and discovered that she was a fan of their music.
You can find a song called "Wilted Rose" on the latest album of the Black Crowes called "Happiness Bastards". In an interview with Loudwire Nights, Robinson reveals that he first met Wilson at a country awards show while they were both on the red carpet. Moreover, at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, the Black Crowes collaborated with Darius Rucker to perform "She Talks to Angels".
Robinson remembers her as a very kind and affectionate person who expressed her admiration for the Black Crowes by saying, "Oh my god, I have been a fan of the Black Crowes since my childhood."
During a break from interviews, there was a brief moment where Producer Jay Joyce asked her to do something, and she agreed and did it.
Joyce was also involved in the production of Wilson's previous two albums. "Wilted Rose" signifies the first instance where the Black Crowes collaborated with a different vocalist for an album.

Additionally, she has contributed a rendition of the Rolling Stones' classic "You Can't Always Get What You Want" for the Stone Cold Country tribute to the iconic band. Furthermore, Wilson has also showcased her acting abilities in the popular Western drama series, Yellowstone.
During an interview, Robinson reflects on a time when he was in Los Angeles. It was after the main part of the record, and they heard something that impressed them. They were amazed by the immense talent of the person involved and recognized that they were experiencing a peak moment in their career. Robinson expresses genuine happiness for this individual and anticipates that they will continue to achieve remarkable things, as they are already making significant strides.
There is speculation that Wilson is currently working on her upcoming studio album, however, no information or songs from these sessions have been made public. "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" from the album Bell Bottom Country is her latest released single.
