Lainey Wilson's collaboration with the Black Crowes happened in a very natural way. Chris Robinson, the lead singer of the band, happened to meet Lainey Wilson by coincidence and discovered that she was a fan of their music.
You can find a track titled "Wilted Rose" on the latest album called "Happiness Bastards" by the Black Crowes. In an interview with Loudwire Nights, Robinson mentions that he first met Wilson while walking the red carpet at a country music awards show. Additionally, the Black Crowes collaborated with Darius Rucker for a live rendition of "She Talks to Angels" at the 2023 CMT Music Awards.
Robinson remembers how kind she was and how she excitedly expressed her love for the Black Crowes, saying, "Wow, I can't believe it! I've been a fan of the Black Crowes since I was a child!"
During a break between interviews and other activities, Producer Jay Joyce approached her and made a request. Without hesitation, she agreed and carried it out.
Joyce was also responsible for producing the last two albums of Wilson. "Wilted Rose" is significant because it is the first instance where the Black Crowes have collaborated with a different vocalist on an album.

Wilson's collaboration with various artists has solidified her position as one of the most versatile and talented female country music artists. Furthermore, she showcased her acting skills in the Western drama series, Yellowstone.
During an interview, Robinson recollects being in Los Angeles after completing the main part of the record. Upon hearing it, they were amazed and exclaimed, "Wow!" They acknowledge the immense talent of the individual and recognize that they are currently experiencing their moment of stardom. They express their joy for this person and believe that they will continue to achieve great things, as they are already doing so.
It is believed that Wilson is currently working on her upcoming studio album, although there is no information or songs that have been leaked from those recording sessions. Her latest single is called "Wildflowers and Wild Horses" and it is featured on the album Bell Bottom Country.
