RJ Studios has recently introduced SubMassive, a groundbreaking plug-in for Mac and Windows users that generates sub-harmonics.
SubMassive functions under the belief that you cannot improve something that is not present. Just as harmonic exciters generate sounds that are lacking in high frequencies, SubMassive is specifically created to generate low frequencies that are missing in the original audio.
The way SubMassive works is by creating low-frequency sounds that are one octave lower than the original audio. It does this using a high-quality algorithm that is designed specifically for low frequencies. The plugin takes the audio that is above a certain threshold and uses it to generate additional audio below that threshold. This helps to increase the overall "heaviness" or weight of the original sound. The newly generated low frequencies are connected to the original audio in terms of their pitch and timing.
The resulting Low-Frequency Effects (LFE) signal can be adjusted even more to come before or after the source signal, providing distinct sound modifications.
