The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 is designed to fix phase shifts that may happen within certain frequency ranges, resulting in an audio signal that sounds more unified and enhanced. When filters are applied during recording, different frequency bands may encounter different phase shifts, which can cause the sound to become distorted and unclear.
