Your current location is indicated by the phrase "You are here." The software Auto-Align 2.1
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, a cutting-edge audio alignment tool that promises to enhance the audio production process with improved precision and effectiveness.
Auto-Align 2.1 enhances audio quality by reducing comb-filtering, minimizing the blurring of sound transients, and optimizing the phase of each microphone to accurately reproduce the complete and distinct sound captured by the microphones. The latest version improves the alignment process by greatly increasing its speed, introducing a new module for spectral phase correction, refining the algorithm, and offering a user-friendly interface for easier operation.
The upgraded Auto-Align software aims to simplify and optimize your workflow. With a simple click, Auto-Align 2.1 is capable of aligning all your microphones in one go. This innovative feature not only saves you time but also guarantees precise timing and phase alignment of your audio, resulting in enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo image.
Auto-Align 2.1 includes a feature called Spectral Phase Optimization, which addresses the issue of phase shifts that may occur within certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can cause the audio signal to sound less coherent and less rich. When filters are applied during the recording process, different frequency bands may experience different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 automatically identifies and corrects these phase shifts, ensuring that the audio is perfectly aligned and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software comes with enhancements to its core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, the ability to optimize spectral phase on a track basis, four preset locations for conveniently comparing different settings, and the feature to export and import alignment settings to make the workflow more efficient across multiple projects.
Auto-Align 2.1 has received positive feedback from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, a renowned producer/mixer/engineer with multiple platinum awards, expresses his astonishment at the incredible impact Auto-Align 2 has on drums, bass, and guitar. Additionally, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, includes Auto-Align 2 as an essential component of his drum plug-in chain, utilizing it in every new mix or song he begins working on.
You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. This software is compatible with macOS 10.9 or newer, as long as you have a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU with Windows 10 or newer is required. Auto-Align 2.1 supports various plug-in formats, including AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
