Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, an innovative tool designed to enhance the audio production process by providing a higher level of precision and effectiveness.

Auto-Align 2.1 improves the audio quality by reducing the negative effects of comb-filtering, minimizing the blurring of transients, and enhancing the phase alignment of each microphone. This results in a clear and well-defined sound reproduction of the recorded audio. The latest version also offers a faster alignment process, introduces a new module for spectral phase correction, utilizes an improved algorithm, and has a more user-friendly interface.

Enhanced Efficiency

The latest edition of Auto-Align aims to make your work process more efficient. With a simple click, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all your microphones in one go. This innovative capability not only saves you precious time but also guarantees precise synchronization and phase alignment of your audio, ultimately enhancing its clarity, dimension, and stereo image.

The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 addresses phase shifts that may happen within specific frequency ranges, helping to improve the clarity and richness of the audio signal. When using filters while recording, there can be inconsistencies in phase shifts across different frequency bands, which can result in distorted and unclear sound. With Spectral Phase Optimization, these phase shifts are automatically identified and corrected, guaranteeing that your audio is accurately aligned and produces the best possible sound quality.

The updated version of the software has enhancements in its core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, track-specific spectral phase optimization, four preset locations for convenient comparison of various configurations, and the functionality to export and import alignment settings to simplify the workflow across different projects.

Auto-Align 2.1 has received positive feedback from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, a renowned producer, mixer, and engineer who has won multiple platinum awards, expresses his astonishment at the capabilities of Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, or guitar. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins, highlighting its importance in his workflow.

You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. It works on macOS 10.9 or later with a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon, and on Windows with a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or later. The plug-in formats supported are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
