This is your current location. Sound Radix has released Auto-Align 2.1, their latest version
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, an innovative tool that aims to enhance and streamline the audio production process by offering improved precision and effectiveness.
Auto-Align 2.1 enhances sound quality by eliminating comb-filtering, reducing transient smearing, and optimizing the phase of each microphone to accurately capture the full and distinct sound. This updated version improves the alignment process by introducing a new module for spectral phase correction, refining the algorithm, and providing a more user-friendly interface. Additionally, it significantly speeds up the workflow.
The updated Auto-Align software is created to make your work process more efficient. By simply clicking a button, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all your microphones at once. This innovative feature saves you time and guarantees that your audio will be perfectly aligned in terms of timing and phase, leading to enhanced clarity, size, and stereo image.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 helps to fix phase shifts that may occur in certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can cause the audio signal to sound incoherent and lacking richness. When filters are used during recording, different frequency bands may encounter different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. With Spectral Phase Optimization, these phase shifts are identified and corrected automatically, ensuring that your audio is aligned perfectly and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software comes with enhancements to its core algorithm, allowing for better performance. Users can now toggle group time alignment, and there is a new feature for optimizing spectral phase on a track basis. Additionally, the software provides four preset locations for easy comparison of different settings, and it allows users to export/import alignment settings, making it easier to streamline workflow
Auto-Align 2.1 has received commendations from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, a highly acclaimed producer, mixer, and engineer who has won multiple platinum awards, expresses his astonishment at the impressive capabilities of Auto-Align 2. He specifically highlights its exceptional performance on drums, bass, and guitar. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a renowned engineer who has won the prestigious GRAMMY award ten times, incorporates Auto-Align 2 into his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins, emphasizing its indispensability in his work.
You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. This software works on macOS 10.9 or newer, and it requires a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, it is compatible with 64-bit Intel or AMD CPUs and Windows 10 or newer. The plug-in formats supported are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
