The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 addresses phase shifts that can happen in certain frequency ranges, which helps improve the quality and clarity of the audio signal. When filters are used during recording, the phase shifts can vary across different frequency bands, causing the sound to become distorted and unclear. By automatically identifying and correcting these phase shifts, Spectral Phase Optimization ensures that your audio is aligned correctly and sounds its best.
The updated version of the software incorporates enhancements to its core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, track-based spectral phase optimization, four preset locations for convenient comparison of various configurations, and the capability to export and import alignment settings to streamline the workflow across different projects.
