Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, an innovative audio alignment tool that aims to enhance the audio production process by offering a higher degree of precision and effectiveness.
Auto-Align 2.1 enhances audio quality by removing comb-filtering, reducing the blurring of transients, and enhancing the spectral phase of each microphone to accurately reproduce the complete and clear sound recorded by the microphones. The latest version improves the alignment process by making it faster, introducing a new module for spectral phase correction, refining the algorithm, and providing a user-friendly interface for easier use.
The updated version of Auto-Align is created to simplify and optimize your work process. By simply clicking once, Auto-Align 2.1 is capable of aligning all your microphones in one go. This innovative feature saves you precious time and guarantees that your audio will be perfectly synchronized in terms of timing and phase, leading to enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo effect.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 fixes phase shifts that may happen within certain frequency ranges, resulting in a more cohesive and high-quality audio signal. When using filters while recording, different frequency bands may experience different phase shifts, which can cause the audio to sound distorted and unclear. Spectral Phase Optimization detects and corrects these phase shifts automatically, ensuring that your audio is properly aligned and sounding its finest.
The updated version of the software also comes with an enhanced core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, track-based spectral phase optimization, four preset locations for convenient comparison of various configurations, and the capability to export and import alignment settings to make the workflow smoother across different projects.
