You have arrived at your current location. This is the Auto-Align 2.1 software developed by Sound
Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, an innovative audio alignment tool that promises to enhance the audio production process by offering improved precision and productivity.
Auto-Align 2.1 improves the quality of sound captured by microphones by eliminating comb-filtering, reducing the blurring of transients, and optimizing the phase of each microphone. This new version also enhances the alignment process by introducing a faster workflow, a new module for spectral phase correction, an improved algorithm, and a user-friendly interface.
Enhanced Efficiency
The updated edition of Auto-Align aims to enhance the efficiency of your work process. With a simple click, Auto-Align 2.1 has the capability to align all your microphones in one go. This innovative feature saves you precious time and guarantees precise timing and phase alignment of your audio, leading to enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo image.
The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 is designed to fix any phase shifts that may occur within specific frequency ranges. These phase shifts can cause the audio signal to sound inconsistent and lacking in clarity. When filters are used during recording, different frequency bands may experience different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted sound. Spectral Phase Optimization detects and corrects these phase shifts automatically, ensuring that your audio is perfectly aligned and sounds its best.
The updated version also features enhancements to its core algorithm, the option to turn on or off group time alignment, the ability to optimize spectral phase on a track basis, four preset locations for conveniently comparing different settings, and the functionality to export/import alignment settings to make the workflow more efficient across various projects.
Auto-Align 2.1 has received positive feedback from experts in the industry. Greg Wurth, a highly acclaimed producer/mixer/engineer, describes the impact of Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, or guitar as astonishing. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, incorporates Auto-Align 2 into his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins.
The latest version of Auto-Align, version 2.1, can now be purchased for $199. It can be used on macOS 10.9 or later, as long as you have a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or later are required. The plug-in formats supported are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
