Auto-Align 2.1: Streamlining Audio Production with Advanced Alignment Tool from Sound Radix

This is your current location. Presenting Auto-Align 2.1, a software developed by Sound Rad

Sound Radix has recently released Auto-Align 2.1, which is an innovative audio alignment tool that promises to enhance the audio production process by offering increased accuracy and productivity.

Auto-Align 2.1 improves audio quality by eliminating the negative effects of comb-filtering, reducing the blurring of transients, and optimizing the phase for each microphone. This software version also enhances the alignment process by increasing its speed, introducing a new module for spectral phase correction, refining the algorithm, and providing a user-friendly interface.

Enhanced Efficiency

The latest edition of Auto-Align aims to make your workflow more efficient. By simply clicking once, Auto-Align 2.1 can align all your microphones in one go. This innovative feature saves you precious time and guarantees precise synchronization of time and phase in your audio, leading to enhanced clarity, dimension, and stereo image.

The Spectral Phase Optimization feature in Auto-Align 2.1 is designed to fix phase shifts that may occur in certain frequency ranges. These phase shifts can cause an audio signal to sound less coherent and less rich. When filters are used during recording, different frequency bands may experience different phase shifts, resulting in a distorted and unclear sound. With Spectral Phase Optimization, these phase shifts are detected and corrected automatically, ensuring that your audio is perfectly aligned and sounds its best.

The updated version of the software also comes with enhancements to its core algorithm, the option to enable or disable group time alignment, the ability to optimize track-based spectral phase, four preset locations for convenient comparison of various settings, and the functionality to export/import alignment settings for a more efficient workflow across different projects.

Industry professionals have already praised Auto-Align 2.1. Greg Wurth, a producer, mixer, and engineer who has won multiple platinum awards, describes the impact of Auto-Align 2 on drums, bass, or guitar as remarkable. Similarly, Darrell Thorp, a 10-time GRAMMY-winning engineer, includes Auto-Align 2 in his drum plug-in chain for every new mix or song he begins.

You can now purchase Auto-Align 2.1 for $199. It works on macOS 10.9 and above, as long as you have a 64-bit Intel CPU or Apple Silicon. For Windows users, it requires a 64-bit Intel or AMD CPU and Windows 10 or above. The plug-in formats supported are AAX, Audio Unit, VST3, and ARA2.
