There are 14 country stars who are not receiving the level of respect they truly deserve. While many may have believed that Dwight Yoakam was the most disrespected country singer, we recently discovered the impressive accomplishments of another iconic country artist.
Yoakam's batting average at the CMA, ACM, and Grammy Awards is only .081 (3-37), but despite this low average, he has managed to secure three wins. The Bellamy Brothers would certainly wish for the same level of success.
David and Howard Bellamy have an astonishing record of 0-29 at the three biggest music awards shows. They have received the most nominations in the duo category among all country pairs, but have never managed to win. Their lack of recognition is so significant that the Taste of Country team didn't even include them in their list of deserving artists not yet inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame.
