After being acquitted of all charges following his arrest last Monday, Chris Young confidently responded to his critics.
The artist used social media to share a surveillance video and send a message to those who accused him of wrongdoing for touching a law enforcement officer.
On Friday, the Nashville District Attorney, Glenn Funk, declared that he had completed his examination of the evidence and decided to dismiss the charges. Earlier, the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission had confessed to pressurizing Young to keep his distance after he attempted to interfere in their license check.
A video obtained by Taste of Country reveals Young's calm demeanor as he attempts to prevent an agent, showing little to no signs of aggression. From one perspective, it is uncertain if he even made physical contact with the man.
The singer of the song "Young Love & Saturday Nights" claims that he did not make physical contact with anyone. He has recently posted a new video on his TikTok account where he addresses the incident for the first time.
In response to those who are criticizing him and advising against touching a police officer, the individual clarifies that he did not physically make contact with the officer.
Since all charges have been dismissed, Young is no longer legally involved in the incident. He will probably resume his promotional activities for his upcoming album, Young Love & Saturday Night, which is scheduled to be released on March 22.
