Family Affair: Jon Pardi and Luke Bryan’s ‘Cowboys and Plowboys’ Video Features Special Guest Stars

  • by

The music video for Jon Pardi's duet "Cowboys and Plowboys" features Luke Bryan and some special guest stars who steal the spotlight.

Both singers invited their significant others to appear in their music videos. Bryan is seen embracing his wife of 17 years, Caroline Boyer, as they enjoy the sunset in a field. Pardi is shown dancing with his wife Summer and holding his nearly one-year-old daughter Presley while riding horses.

It is understandable that Bryan and Pardi decided to include their families in the music video for "Cowboys and Plowboys." The song provides a glimpse into the personal backgrounds of the two artists, with Pardi portraying a cowboy due to his West Coast roots and Bryan representing a plowboy from a family of peanut farmers.

Pardi mentioned to Taste of Country Nights that he and Luke both felt that the song was perfect for them to sing together. The song is about cowboys and farmers.

Both singers have a history of including family members in their music videos. Bryan had his wife and mother appear in the video for his song "One Margarita" in 2020, which was set on a beach. Pardi, on the other hand, featured his Australian Cattle Dog named Cowboy in the video for his 2021 song "Tequila Little Time."

Pardi's latest release, "Cowboys and Plowboys," is his first new music since his Mr. Saturday Night album in 2022. He also released a Christmas album last year. In February, Pardi and his wife Summer had a baby named Presley, and they have announced that they are expecting their second child, another girl, in July.
