Jennifer Nettles, the host of the Fox show, acknowledges that this season, the female contestants are displaying more intense emotions, energy, and responsiveness, potentially causing some dramatic moments on the farm.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will showcase four farmers from different parts of the United States as they search for their perfect partners.

However, there is a unique aspect to this situation where each farmer will choose five women from a group of 29 to live with them on their farm. This experience will allow the women to fully understand the responsibilities and lifestyle of being a farmer's wife.

Get to know the farmers featured in the second season of Farmer Wants a Wife:

Ty Ferrell, aged 42, likes to identify as a cowboy rather than a farmer, as he specializes in team roping. He runs a 50-acre farm in Sikeston, Missouri, where he raises horses and cattle. Ty has a passion for roping and horseback riding that dates back to his childhood. Despite being one of the older farmers on the show, Ty is a divorced father with a 12-year-old daughter. He is seeking a partner who can not only be a companion to him but also a caring mother figure for his child.

Mitchell Kolinsky, a 27-year-old farmer in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, is the first in his family to pursue farming. His large property is home to abundant wildlife and an old cabin from the 1800s, where he resides with his three dogs. Kolinsky's upbringing around horses and love for the outdoors inspired him to enter the farming industry. Today, he is the proud owner of a farm with horses and cattle.

Brandon Rogers, who is 29 years old, manages a farm that spans 1,000 acres and grows potatoes and barley in Center, Colorado. The town he calls home is very small, with just one stoplight, and is surrounded by farmland. He comes from a farming family, with his father being a farmer as well, and he has been working on the farm since he was a child. Rogers is dedicated to carrying on the legacy his father started and is committed to running the family business.

At 23 years old, Nathan Smothers comes from a long line of farmers and is a fourth generation citrus and cattle farmer in Bartow, Florida. His large property includes 300 acres of farmland and over 500 acres dedicated to cattle. Despite his young age, Smothers is mature and responsible, having had to take on a significant role in caring for his mother and three sisters after his father passed away when he was just 12 years old.

The second season of Farmer Wants a Wife will debut on Thursday, February 1st at 9PM Eastern Time on the Fox network.
