Super Bowl 58 is expected to have the highest ticket prices ever seen in the history of the game. If you want to attend this year's Super Bowl, be prepared to spend a significant amount of money.
As of Thursday, the lowest-priced single ticket available was $8,000 on the ticket resale website TickPick. This ticket would give you a seat in the upper 300 section, and the site ensures that you will have a guaranteed seat for that price.
If the prices stay the same, this Super Bowl ticket will be the most costly one ever. The most expensive Super Bowl ticket to date was for the 2020 game, which had an average price of $6,370. One reason for that high price was because the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the home team, were playing. This year, however, the home team is not playing in the Super Bowl.
The upcoming Super Bowl will be the first one ever held in Las Vegas, and ticket experts believe this is causing prices to increase. Fans are eager to spend a weekend in Sin City and attend the biggest sporting event in the world.
Just in case you were curious, the average price of a ticket to the inaugural Super Bowl was $12.
Many 49er fans prioritize location when buying tickets, as shown by StubHub data indicating that 26 percent of ticket sales are from California. This suggests that fans in closer proximity to the team are more likely to attend games. In comparison, only 7 percent of ticket sales on StubHub come from Kansas and Missouri combined.
Also, it's important to consider the influence of Taylor Swift. Her presence at the event may attract a larger number of female fans than usual.
Regardless of how you enter, Allegiant Stadium with 65,000 seats will be completely full for Super Bowl 58, which is scheduled to start on Sunday, February 11 at 6:30PM ET.
