In the coming years, CMA Fest is expected to undergo changes due to the upcoming construction of a new stadium for the Tennessee Titans. This will likely alter the traditional format of the festival.
The main acts of the festival have been held at Nissan Stadium for a number of years, but they will be relocated to the new venue once construction is finished.
The Country Music Association has stated that they will be collaborating with the Tennessee Titans annually during CMA Fest. They are excited to host country music fans in Nashville for the nightly concerts at the new stadium.
A new stadium, appropriately named the New Nissan Stadium, is planned to be constructed east of the current Nissan Stadium on the East Bank of the Cumberland River. The building process is expected to start this year, and the stadium is projected to open in 2027.
Fans of country music can still get to the New Nissan Stadium from downtown Nashville by using the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge.
The new stadium for the Titans will be enclosed and focused on providing fans with an enhanced experience. It will have panoramic views of Nashville, a see-through roof, and 12,000 square feet of community space that can be utilized throughout the year.
CMA Fest, previously known as Fan Fair, is a popular event in the country music scene that started in 1972. It began as a small gathering of 5,000 fans at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium and has since grown into one of the largest annual events in country music. Every year, thousands of fans from around the world come together in Music City to enjoy performances from over 250 artists on nine stages.
The CMA Fest 2024 will take place from June 6th to June 9th in the
50 memorable on-stage collaborations from CMA Fest.
